ಅಳುವ ಪುಟ್ಟಿ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಯಿಯೊಂದು ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಮಲಗಿತ್ತು ಮನೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಪುಟ್ಟಿ   ಕೂತು ಅಳುತ್ತಿತ್ತು  ಶಬ್ದ ಕೇಳಿ ನಾಯಿಯು  ಬೌ ಬೌ ಎಂದಿತ್ತು  ನಮ್ಮ ಪುಟ್ಟಿ ಚೀರಿಕೊಂಡು ಮನೆ ಒಳಗೆ ಓಡಿತ್ತು  ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೊಂದು  ಮಿಯಾವ್ ಬೆಕ್ಕು ಮಲಗಿತ್ತು  ನಮ್ಮ ಪುಟ್ಟಿ ಬೆಕ್ಕಿನ ಬಾಲವ ತುಳಿದಿತ್ತು  ಬೆಕ್ಕು ಪುಟ್ಟಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೆಗರಿ ಬಂದಿತ್ತು  ಅಮ್ಮ ಗದರಿದಾಗ ಬೆಕ್ಕು ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು  ಮನೆಯ ಹಿಂದೆ ದೊಡ್ಡಿಯಲಿ ಹಸುವು ಮಲಗಿತ್ತು  ನಮ್ಮ ಪುಟ್ಟಿ ಹಸುವ ಮುದ್ದು ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು  ಹಸುವು ಕೊಂಬಿನಿಂದ ಪುಟ್ಟಿಯ ತಿವಿದಿತ್ತು  ಪುಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸಣ್ಣ ಪುಟ್ಟ ಗಾಯ ಆಗಿತ್ತು  ನಮ್ಮ ಪುಟ್ಟಿ ಮನೆಯ ಒಳಗೆ ಆಟ ಆಡಿತ್ತು ಅಮ್ಮ ಒಲೆಯಾ ಮೇಲೆ ಅನ್ನ ಬೇಯಿಸಿತ್ತು  ಪುಟ್ಟಿ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಲು ಎಂದು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ ಕೈಯ ಸುಟ್ಟಿತು  ಗಾಯ ನೋಡಿ ಅಮ್ಮನ ಎದೆಗೆ ಗಾಸಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು *************ರಚನೆ *************  ಡಾ. ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ ಚನ್ನಾಪುರ ಹಾಲಪ್ಪ

ಬಾನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂವ್ವೊಂದು ಅರಳಿತ್ತು  ಹೂವ ನೋಡಿ ಸೂರ್ಯನು ನಕ್ಕಿತ್ತು ನಾಚಿದ ಹೂವು ಸೂರ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಲೈನ್ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು  ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಮೈಮನವೆಲ್ಲ ಕೆರಳಿ ನಿಂತಿತ್ತು  ಹೂವಿನ ಮೈಮನವೆಲ್ಲ ಚೆಲುವಲಿ ತುಂಬಿತ್ತು  ಆಸೆಯ ತವಕ ಹೂವು ಪರಿಮಳ ಸುಸಿತ್ತು ದುಂಬಿಯು ಬಂದು ಹೂವಿಗೆ ಮುತ್ತನಿಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು  ಮುತ್ತಿನ ಮಕರಂದದಿ ದುಂಬಿಯು ತೇಲಿತ್ತು  ಹಗಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಕಿಟ್ಟ ಸೂರ್ಯ ಸಂಜೆ ಮುಳುಗಿತ್ತು  ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ತಂಗಾಳಿಯಲಿ ಭಾನು ನಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು ಹೂವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳು ಕಣ್ಣು ಹೊಡೆದಿತ್ತು ಹೂವಿಗೆ ಸುಸ್ತಾಗಿ ಜೀವನಾ ಬೇಸರ ತಂದಿತ್ತು  ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ಹೂವು ತನ್ನವರನ್ನು ಕರೆದಿತ್ತು ಯಾರು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಒಂಟಿ ಯಾತನೆ ಹೂವಿಗೆ ಕಾಡಿತ್ತು  ಬೆಳಕನು ತಂದ ಚಂದ್ರ ಹೂವ ನೋಡಿ ನಕ್ಕೀತ್ತು  ಸೊರಗಿ ಹೂವು ಏಕೋ ಬಾಡಿ ಕಣ್ಮರೆ ಆಗಿತ್ತು  *********ರಚನೆ******** ಡಾ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್ ಸುನ್ನಾಪುರ ಹಾಲಪ್ಪ
